Graham's first day of school

Graham started school today. He's there right now. I'm just waiting until 1! He was so, so excited. I can't wait to hear all about it!

Sunday Dinner

I can't say enough nice things about this family. We love them and missed them so much while we were in Arizona. They are our family in Mexico.

This is Amron introducing the women to chocolate chip cookies. They were a hit.

And this is Graham playing with his friends.

And Sadie just socializing.

Sunday night while Graham was in bed I head him saying to himself, "uno, dos laga laga laga." And a bunch of other made of Spanish words. He's learning! haha

For Family Night "we" as in Amron set up the trampoline the kids got for Christmas and the kids new beds. We made cookies and watched him.

The Trip

8am- left Chandler, AZ

11am- Nogalas, AZ; All the food I prepared, GONE!

6pm- Arrived in the city right before Navajo (can't remember what it's called) ate tacos and checked into our room at The Fiesta Inn.

5:30am- Loaded up and left.

6am- Amron hits a speed bump. and the bike trailer falls off.

2pm- Amron hits a mongoose.

8pm- we arrive in Guadalaraja.

So you see it was a pretty uneventful trip. Just how we like it.

Who's tooty?

Horchata de coco.

home again!

We arrived home last night around 8. We had been home for 5 minutes when the missionaries knocked on our door and asked if they could help us unload. Tender mercy!

Today we have done all the important things.

Went to the park,

Put up some pictures,

And restocked the chocolate supply (do you like how it's right next to the healthy cooking books?).

family pics

I really should be cleaning my house right now. So of course it's the perfect time to start blogging again.

So here's a little update on us.

I have been in Arizona with the kids for almost 2 months! Wow, was Mexico a dream? I hope not. I miss that place!

Amron stayed and finished his classes then came here the week before Christmas. Since he's been here we have been in a constant whirl wind trying to sell things to make money and get things taken care of with the house we own here. While trying to visit our awesome family and have fun with the kids.

It has been such a fun trip. Christmas with the kids was amazing. It's way more fun for parents I think.

But I'm missing Mexico! I excited to get back into our own rhythm. I miss the confidence that come with knowing you are where the Lord wants you to be doing.

I'm not excited about the drive back tho!

21 hours. 3 crazy kids.

We can do it tho! haha I hope.

While we were here we got our family pictures taken by Amelia Kate. I love how she captured our family and the sweet little spirits and relationships that are developing. And the color is amazing.

AZ we will miss ya!

You're where we grew up, fell in love, and had our babies.

We'll be back!
