i love reading. i get obsessive. i usually read late at night when everyone is asleep.

these are a few books i've read in the last month or so. my favorite was the divine secrets of the ya-ya sisterhood. it makes me want to live in the south. and in the 50's. let me know if you have any recommendations!

what is your favorite book??

when i was younger it was "the view from saturday". this was my first book that made we want to be more. i love feel good books.

i'm not sure what my favorite book is now. it might be "the divine secrets of the ya-ya sisters".

i of course love the harry potters.

  1. right now i am re-reading the children of the promise series. really good. if you haven't read it- you need to. (:

i am also listening to the harry potter books on cd for the first time! i read the first one in like 7th grade- and never finished the series. but cade loves them and has them on cd. since we like different kinds of music, when we are in the car together, we just listen to harry potter! i'm on book 6 right now & i'm really loving them! can't believe it's taken me this long... ha ha!

i'll have to read the ya-ya sisterhood next. sounds like it would be right up my alley! (:

  2. I love the Children of the Promise. I should re-read them. That's crazy you have never read the harry potters! i'm excited for you. Amron and I just started listening to The Hunger Games. It's so fun, especially on trips! You should! It's pg-13 just so you know!

  3. Have you read The Help? That book is really good. I'm reading 3 cups of Tea right now and it's really good. Are you on goodreads?

  4. I love reading too - which I find quite ironic since I HATED reading when I was a kid.
I had never read Ken Follett before, but I recently read the first of his new series "Fall of Giants" and it was good (and very long). Too bad now I have to wait for the other ones to come out!
I am currently reading "Unbroken" - it is pretty good so far, but I'm only about 1/3 of the way through so I cannot totally recommend it yet.

  5. I have not read The Help. I have heard great things about it though! I'll add it to my list. I am on goodreads. I haven't quite figured it out. I'll have to look into "Fall of Giants". Thanks for the recommendation!
