Sunday- Went to our cousins baby blessing. I wasn't having any contractions or signs of labor. Nothing.
Sunday Night- We hung out at mom's like usual. No contractions. I got a little tired but that was pretty normal. Found a butterfly. Graham ended up stepping on it.
Monday at 2AM- I woke up to go to the bathroom, came back into bed and my water broke. I wasn't sure at first if that's what was really happening because with Graham my water never broke (well the doctor broke it). We called the on-call nurse and decided that it really had broke because it just kept coming. Still no contractions.
Monday at 2:30AM- Drove to the hospital. 4 small contractions on the way there.
Monday at 3AM- Got to the hospital. Waited in that little room where the check you. Got the IV. I started having more contractions. They got closer together and started hurting really bad. My doctor came in and went over what was going to happen during the c-section. Then the anesthesiologist came in and told me about the spinal block I would be getting for the c-section. By this time by contractions were so, so bad. They wheeled me out of the room and down the hall towards the operating room. When I got into the hall I started screaming. The contractions hurt really bad and I could feel Max start to come out. When we got into the operating room I had to get to sit on the edge of the operating table so they got put the spinal block in my back. I told them he was coming out. They said no, it was just fluids. It hurt so bad to sit on the table and then to wait there for 2 minutes. I just held onto the nurse and cried. As soon as he put the block in I was in heaven. I couldn't feel anything. I layed back on the table and then out came Max.
Monday At 4:27AM- The doctor was so suprised that he was right there. The plan was to do a c-section but since he was already part way out the doctor just delivered him breach. Max was 4 lbs. 12 oz and 17 inches long.
Monday at 4:46AM Sadie was already head down. I pushed a few times and out she came. Sadie was 4 lbs. 15 oz. and 17.25 inces long.
